Sharon Ann Hagyari's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Sharon Ann Hagyari
We are deeply saddened to announce that our mother, Sharon Hagyari, passed away peacefully March 31, 2024, Easter Sunday, aged 75. Our mom was our compass and the best mom ever.
Sharon was born on April 5, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Charles B Turner and Ann Virginia (nee Kovach) Turner. She started secondary school at St Joseph’s Academy before transferring and graduating from West Tech High School in Cleveland.
Sharon and her ex-husband Frank moved to Owasso, Oklahoma, in 1980 before she later moved to the Broken Arrow community. Sharon was employed with Avis Rent-A-Car for more than 25 years and was friends with a tremendous number of her Avis colleagues. Sharon enjoyed going to the movies, watching sports, following the weather, gardening and playing cards. While she loved to win, playing cards also implied covertly trying to be the best cheater. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Sharon is survived by her sons Andrew and David; grandson Xavier; brother Kenneth Turner (Avon, OH); niece Natalie Kovall, married to Joshua, (Parma, OH); and grand-nieces Myla and Scarlett. In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her oldest brother Charles, and half-siblings Bert, Jesse, Russell and Mildred.
We want to thank all our family and friends who supported her through her fight with pancreatic cancer. The visits, cards and calls meant a great deal to her.
We love you forever Mom!
A funeral mass to honor the life of Sharon will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Saint Therese Catholic Church, located at 1007 N 19th St, Collinsville, OK 74021. Interment will follow at 12:00 PM, immediately after conclusion of the church service at Saint Therese Catholic Cemetery, also located at 1007 N 19th St, Collinsville, OK 74021.
Arrangements entrusted to Floral Haven Funeral Home.
