Sharon Sue Segler's Obituary
Sharon S. Segler Sharon Sue Segler of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the age of 74. She was born in Velma, Oklahoma on February 2, 1944 to Roy and Wanda(Haines) Segler and spent most of her adult life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is survived by her brother, Randy Segler and his wife Cynthia Segler of Lawton, Oklahoma, nieces Briton Stoll and Taylor Hayes, both of Edmond, Oklahoma, nephews Damon Segler and Jason Segler, both of Denver, Colorado, as well as great nieces Jade Segler, Cian Segler, Anna Rose Segler, Noelani Segler, and Brynlee Stoll and great nephews Dillon Segler and Braxton Stoll. Sharon was a graduate of the Hillcrest Medical Center School of Nursing in Tulsa and later obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She worked as an RN at Hillcrest Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa where the last 15 years of her career were spent working with oncology patients. Among her many talents were genuine care for her patients, her friends and family, and many rescue dogs throughout her life. In addition, she was an accomplished stain glass artist and loved collecting stretch and art glass. A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 12:30 pm on June 21, 2018 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel, 6500 S. 129th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, Ok., 74012.
