Sharron Lee Dodson's Obituary
Sharron Lee Dodson born April 10, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri passed away December 9, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sharron was the oldest of two children born to Samuel Russell and Bessie Louise Smashey. In 1979 Sharron married the love of her life, Watie “Allen” Dodson. The most important thing to Sharron was her family and she cherished every moment she could spend with them; and especially loved spending time and watching her grandchildren grow and have families of their own. Sharron had a larger than life personality and absolutely loved her family and friends. Sharon spent much of her working career in the medical field doing phlebotomy. When she wasn’t working she enjoyed going on family vacations, collecting dolls, and crocheting. Sharron was passionate about her faith and loved attending church. Sharron will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Sharron is preceded in passing by her parents, Samuel Russell Smashey and Bessie Louise Smashey (Huffine) and her sister Shelia Osbourne. Sharron is survived by her loving husband, Watie “Allen” Dodson; daughter, Denise Braaten and her husband Ray; son, Dave Guy and his wife Vickie; son, Steve Dodson; son, Dane Dodson and his wife Holly; daughter, Michelle DeMond; grandchildren, Dr. Tyler Braaten and his wife Tonya; Tim Braaten and his wife Nikki; Tori Wright and her husband Cody; Ashley Gravitt and her husband Jeremiah, Chris Dodson and his wife Chelsea; Jon “J.D.” Guy, Abby Dodson; great-grandchildren, Deegan and Reagan Braaten, Declan and Jensen Wright and Ava and Eden Gravitt and numerous other family members and friends. There will be a visitation Monday, December 12, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Broken Arrow Nazarene Church
