Shawn Ray Sherman's Obituary
Shawn Ray Sherman passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 41 after a long battle with Diabetes. Shawn was born on February 5, 1972, in Tulsa, OK. Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juanita & Perry Hash of Broken Arrow, Lee Sherman of Wagoner, cousin Angela Sherman-Ladner of Broken Arrow and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins of the Hash, Norton, McMillan, Peterson and Sherman families. Shawn is survived by his parents Sherry Sherman of Broken Arrow & Larry & Carol Sherman of Wagoner. He is also survived by grandmother Lynn Sherman of Wagoner, children Michael Lee Sherman & Kayla Renée Pippin-Sherman, and their mother, ex spouse and close friend Shannon Sherman of Broken Arrow, Sister Kasey Sherman Elliott and spouse Joe Elliott of Wagoner, aunts and uncles Allen & Jill Hash of Tulsa, Gary & Peggy Sherman of Coweta and Jerry and Sherry Sherman of Broken Arrow as well as dozens of close cousins and extended family members. He will also be greatly missed by close long-time friends Ernie & Julie Selica of Tulsa, Rusty Rosser of Broken Arrow & Kristi Carey Replogle and children Aaron, Tayah & Raymond of Coweta. Shawn was employed as a plumber at Sherman and Mullin Plumbing before his illness. A celebration of Shawn’s life will be at 12:30 P.M., Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the Family Center at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow.
