Shelba Jean Brown, age 84, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Born on September 23, 1940, in Ansonia, Ohio, Shelba was the beloved daughter of Raymond Leroy Edwards and Mildred (Marshall) Edwards. Shelba met and married the love of her lite, Ronald Brown, with whom she shared 66 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they welcomed their cherished daughter, Deborah, into their lives. Shelba was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in crafts, particularly sewing and crocheting, and delighted in making clothes for her daughter's Barbies, as well as for herself. Her creativity extended to her impressive collection of Beanie Babies, amassing around 1,000 of them and dedicating an entire room to her beloved collection. In addition to her crafting hobbies, Shelba enjoyed attending Mustang car shows, where she could admire the beauty and power of the classic cars. Shelba's legacy is one of love, creativity, and dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond Leroy Edwards and Mildred Edwards, and siblings Connie Marshall, Tom Edwards, John Edwards, Jack Edwards, and Dean Edwards. She is survived by her loving husband Ronald Brown; her daughter Deborah Blackford; grandchildren Michael Blackford and Erin Blackford; great grandchildren Canon Blackford, Riley Blackford, Colin Blackford, Arkarian "lan" Blackford, Alexander "Alex" Blackford, and Abigail "Abby" Blackford; siblings Beverly Holsapple, Ronnie Edwards, and Bill Edwards; along with many other family members and friends who cherished her and forever keep her memory alive.
