Sherdain Elton Halford's Obituary
Sherdain Elton Halford, age 69, resident of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Sherdain was born June 15, 1948, to Farrell and Jerline Halford in Portland, Oregon, and moved to Oklahoma at an early age. Sherdain will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.He was a licensed Stationary Engineer and a retired Hazmat Crew Chief with American Airlines, where he worked for the last 20 years of his career.He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Linda [Volk] Halford, his daughter Lisa Bryant and fiancée Jay Steen, his sons, Tony Halford and wife Tienna, and James Halford and companion, Mindy Smith, and the grandchildren he adored, Christopher James (CJ) and Riley Sherdain Bryant, Lynnox Lee and Everly Rose Halford, and Mitchell Steen. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brother, Farrell [Lily], his sisters, Jerletta Pandos [Ron], Glenda Wilkerson, and Susan Wilburn, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janis and Bill Paulikas, his former son-in-law, Steve Bryant, and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.He was preceded in passing by his parents, Farrell Halford and Jerline Halford Impson.A memorial service to celebrate Sherdain’s life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A graveside Military Honor Service will immediately follow.Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Coast Guard, Patriot Guard Riders and the VFW.Pallbearers will be Sherdain Anthony Halford, James Elton Halford, James Calvin Halford and Farrell Eldridge Halford, Jr.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sherdain to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
