Sherri Lynn Fields' Obituary
On March 11, 2024, the vibrant spirit of Sherri Lynn Fields was called to her eternal home, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Born on July 18, 1963, in Phoenix, Arizona, Sherri's life was a testament to devotion to her family and an enduring capacity for kindness. Her dedication to her work at a retirement community showcased her deep passion for assisting others, particularly the elderly, profoundly impacting those she served with her compassionate care and steadfast support.
In her pivotal role as a mother, Sherri exemplified unconditional love and unwavering support to her children, Kyle, Bradley, Derick, and Hannah, and their spouses, Becky, Emily, Kendra, and Cody, respectively. Together with her ex-husband, Dan Fields, she nurtured a family environment replete with love, laughter, and invaluable memories.
The joy in Sherri's life was magnified by her grandchildren—Cooper, Dawson, Dalton, Drake, and Hunter. Embracing her cherished role as 'Granny,' she seized every moment to spoil them with love, share wisdom, and craft memorable experiences that ranged from simple backyard fun to cherished family traditions.
Though Sherri has moved on from this world, preceded in death by her father, Terry Roland, and stepfather, Vaughn Abbott, her permanent mark of love persists through her surviving mother, Helen Abbott; her devoted children and their spouses; her beloved grandchildren; and the numerous friends and family members enriched by her presence.
Sherri will forever be celebrated for her radiant smile, her generous spirit, and the glowing presence she was to everyone fortunate enough to know her. As we come together to commemorate her life, we pay tribute to a remarkable woman whose very
essence was a blessing—a treasured mother, granny, and friend whose legacy of love and kindness will eternally resonate with us.
