Sherry W. Lehman's Obituary
Sherry (Cooper) Lehman passed from this life on June 12 at the age of 64. She was at St. John Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by family after a hard fought battle with cancer.Sherry was born on July 12, 1953 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Helen and Bill Cooper. She graduated from Western Heights High School in 1971. She was a homemaker most of her life and had a flare for making a house feel like a home. She enjoyed her family, her dogs, her church and doing volunteer work. Sherry is survived by her son Jason Stair and wife Jennifer of Owasso, her mother Helen Freshour of Oklahoma City, her sister Lisa Gordon and husband Jay of Coweta and grandchildren Noah and Kaitlyn of Owasso. She is also survived by nieces and nephews who referred to her as Aunt Mom.Our beloved mom, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a sweet spirit and fought this terrible disease with courage and determination. We find peace in knowing that she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior completely healed.Services will be held on Monday, June 18 at 3pm at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance.
