Sheryl Dianne Nance's Obituary
Sherry Nance, 76, of Kellyville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2026.
Sherry was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and raised in the Berryhill area. She graduated from Berryhill High School, where she met the love of her life, Charles Nance. The two built a life together centered around family, love, and creating a home where everyone felt welcome.
After graduating, Sherry worked as a secretary until 1982, when she chose to devote her time to being a homemaker and mother, a role she treasured deeply.
In 1975, Sherry and Charles moved to Kellyville, where they built their home and raised their family. Over the years, they became active members of the Kellyville community and built many lasting friendships. During this time, Sherry also cared for many children in the community, babysitting the children of teachers and other families in the Kellyville area. Her home was a place where many children were welcomed, cared for, and loved.
Sherry was known for her warm heart and the way she made people feel special. She had a special gift for making every birthday meaningful and every holiday magical. Family gatherings were always memorable because of the love and care she put into them, and those traditions will continue to live on through the family she cherished so deeply.
One of Sherry’s greatest joys was watching her sons and grandchildren play sports. She was their biggest supporter and rarely missed a game unless she was cheering on another grandchild at a different event.
Her grandchildren also knew that Grandma always had candy in her purse and a candy dish in her home, ready to spoil them whenever they visited.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Nance, and their three sons: Kevin Nance, Darrin Nance, and Nathan Nance.
Kevin and his wife Brenda Nance have two sons, Easton Nance and Braylon Nance.
Darrin and his wife Sammi Nance have eight children: Gavin Nance, Dawson Nance, Laetyn Nance, Rowan Nance, Dalton Travis, Jesse Williams, Garrett Williams, and Harper Kreps.
Nathan and his wife Karmen Nance have three daughters: Hayden Nance, Emerson Nance, and Abigail Nance.
Sherry is also survived by her brother, John Lynch, and his wife Natalie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alene Lynch and John Lynch, and two grandchildren, Gibson Nance and Nevaeh Nance.
The love she gave, the traditions she created, and the way she showed up for her family will continue to live on in every holiday, every game, and every memory shared.
Those who knew and loved Sherry will carry forward the traditions she cherished—showing up for family, celebrating life’s moments, and making others feel special.
Services will take place at the Floral Haven Chapel on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Graveside services to follow in the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Garden of Devotion.
