Shirley Juanita Creekmore's Obituary
Shirley Juanita Creekmoore, 85, passed away on June 24, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Born on May 3, 1941, in Okmulgee, OK to Carl Morgan and Thelma Tennison. Shirley lived life on her own terms. She was known for her strong, straightforward personality and always said what was on her mind. She found great joy in being outdoors, especially working in her yard and keeping it beautiful. She also loved dancing at Cain's Ballroom and spent some time working at the bowling alley where she made friends and created memories.
Shirley will be remembered for her independent spirit, hardworking nature, and the many happy memories she created with those she loved. Her strength, honesty, and love for life's simple pleasures will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son Vernon Monroe Greenfield Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Vonda Byrom, son Donald Ray Greenfield, grandchildren David Cordle Jr, Matthew Cordle, James Edward Byrom Jr, Chelsea Greenfield, Chelsey Atkinson, Cody Greenfield, Ty Greenfield, Mitchell Smith, numerous great-grandchildren, along with friends and loved ones.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 at 3:30 PM at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Veterans Field of Honor.
