Shirley Jean "Carney" Newton's Obituary
Shirley Jean (Carney) Newton, born August 2, 1929 in Ft Wayne, Indiana, entered her eternal life on January 1, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, James 'Scotty' and Nonnie Cuthill, her first husband Leon Carney and her second husband, Robert Newton. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Dan Warma of Catoosa; grandchildren, Sheri 'Sunshine' Teutsch and husband Brian, Laura ‘little bit’ Holman and husband Matt and Danny Warma and wife Alicia all of Catoosa; great-grandchildren Riley and Cason Teutsch, Justin and Layla Holman, Mallory and Nolan Warma all of Catoosa; step-children Pam Jarman, Mitch Newton and wife Rebecca, Randy Newton, Rhonda Williams and husband Rob; step-grandchildren, David Newton, Charles Childers, Charity Beaver, Michael Willliams, Ryan Williams, Jaymee Bahr Baylie Williams, Clint Newton, Kyle Newton. Affectionately known as 'Nana', Shirley spent most of her life as a homemaker and caring for her family. Visitation will be held Friday, 2:00-9:00 PM at Floral haven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Floral Haven Mausoleum Chapel.
