Shirley Jean Haynes' Obituary
Shirley Jean Haynes was born in Sperry, Oklahoma, on June 1, 1933. After battling many cancers she succumbed, February 22, 2014. She was a retired barber who was privileged to have given most of her grandchildren their first haircut. She was a resident of Sapulpa for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Monroe and father, Emmett Peachey, husband, WA Haynes, and beloved four-legged companion, Rocky. She is survived by sister, Nell Villines of Tulsa, and brother, Claude Peachey of WA state, four daughters, Carolyn Jean Lankford of Collinsville, , Kathryn Lee and husband Henry Lankford of Collinsville, Marilyn Faye Tupper of Martinez, GA, and Connie Marie and husband Kent Pugh of Sapulpa, 6 grandsons, John, Bill, Andrew, Curtis, Dale, and Joey, 1 granddaughter, Stephanie, 8 great-grandchildren, a very special nephew, Michael Villines, numerous other nieces and nephews, and her best friend Kelley Brinlee. Shirley enjoyed gardening and spending time sewing and quilting with her many friends.
