Shirley Evelyn Kohler's Obituary
Shirley Evelyn Kohler Shirley was born in South Bend, Indiana on November 9, 1925 to Lee and Genevieve (Simcox) Toner and died on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at age 85. Shirley's role as a homemaker was followed by 18 years at NylonCraft in Mishawaka where she retired in the early 90's. She spent her entire life in the South Bend/Mishawaka area until at an advanced age she moved to Tampa to be with her son and later to her daughter's in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by both parents, her only sister, Maude Rollins, two brothers, Harold Toner and Russell Toner and her son, Ronald E. Tracas. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Tracas of Broken Arrow, OK, son, Arthur Kohler of Elkhart, IN and two brothers, Jerry (Geraldine) Toner of Niles, MI and Leroy (June) Toner, of Walkerton, IN, one grand-daughter, Sarah Bruggner and three great grand-children. She will be cremated at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow with her final resting place in South Bend, IN. Those wishing to donate in her memory may contribute to the Alzheimer's Association, Domestic Violence Intervention Services, or favorite charity of choice.
