Shirley May Reese's Obituary
Shirley May Reese, 95 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, June 17, 2021 in Broken Arrow. She was born May 11, 1926 in Morristown, New Jersey to her parents, Vernon Penn Wright and Esther H. Wiff Wright. She married the love of her life, Gilbert T. Reese in 1952 and they shared in over 44 years together at the time of his passing in 1997.
Shirley is survived by two children, Suszan Ford of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and William T. Murphy and his wife Marie of Arizona; three grandchildren, Stevie Ford and her fiancee, Michael Kellogg of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Lee Edward Ford and his Fiancee, Shanna McDagle-Byars of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Jennifer Battles and her husband Henry of Yuma, California; eight great-grandchildren, Samantha, Sydney, Tyler, Addyson, Lylli, Courtney, Jena and James; three great-great-grandchildren, Tristin, Londyn and Maverick; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three siblings, Virginia P. Frost, Alva Wright and Vernon Penn Wright, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Floral Haven's Rose Chapel. Burial will be private.
