one of my favorite memories is when we spent thanksgiving together 12 years ago at my house we ate at a card table just her and i … we had a good time…serena had been sick so she had the cutest puppy i had ever seen so after our meal witch was big for the 2 of us…but afterwards our food settled we went and got me the brother of her puppy my baby bear… after the service my daughter angela asked me remember who helped you get bear and it made me smile… i loved my sister with everything i had…

My deepest sympathies for your loss.
I am one of those dance people, from Lawrence, KS. Shirley knew me as Zada Al Gaziyeh. I am sorry to hear of her passing and hope you will celebrate her memory. Gentle souls are few and far between.
We met Shirley and Serena through shared music and dance activities. Shirley was a bright, very nice person that anyone would be happy to have known. Her passing is a loss from all our lives. Our deepest sympathies and support go to her family, and to Serena in particular.
