Shirley June Williams' Obituary
Shirley June Williams, 84, of Sand Springs, passed away on December 22, 2021 at Ascension St. John (Jane Phillips) in Bartlesville. She was born on June 9, 1937 in Weatherford to Audry and Marie (Brehm) Amen. In May of 1958, she married the love of her life, Clifton Williams, and together they raised one daughter.
She was a charter member of the Berryhill Baptist Church, and for nearly 50 years, she lovingly served in various roles, including pianist, church secretary, Sunday School teacher, missions leader, committee member, fellowship coordinator, and much more.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister LaVelle Nickels; two brothers, Richard Amen and Larry Amen.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Kimberly McElrath and husband Roger of Sapulpa; brothers Donald Amen and wife Raelene of Weatherford, and Delbert Amen of Oklahoma City; granddaughter Lauren Robinson and husband Ian of Del Rio, Texas; grandson Joey McElrath of Tulsa; great-grandchildren Blake and Ruby Robinson; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Berryhill Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Hurlbut officiating. Internment at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Cemetery.
