Josh, you left many friends and family behind that care very much for you. I have looked though the pictures of you with some of those friends growing up together and saw a fire and a passion in you that few people ever experience. You may have lived a short life but you lived! You never took a single moment for granted and used it to the fullest. To constantly have that kind of energy must have been difficult at times. I will keep your boys in my prayers that they might know the passion and freedom you loved and be strong enough to live it. You are missed for now, but we will see you again someday. Dear Josh, It is very hard to believe that you are gone and that the world will be deprived of your contagious grin, wild wit, and outrageous laughter. You had the ability to lift others spirits and bring others out of their shells. I only wish that someone could have done that for you in the depths of your darkest despair. You introduced me to a whole group of friends that I am so thankful for knowing. My teen years would not have been the same without you. To your family, I pray that the Lord brings you comfort, strength, and peace beyond all understanding. Be there for each other and for those two adorable boys. My prayers go out to Josh's family in their time of loss. I had the honor of being Josh's sons first caregiver. How Josh loved those boys! When Josh would drop off or pick up the boys he would always take the time to visit with all of us at the daycare as well as ask how his childrens day had been. He quickly became not just a parent but a friend and you knew he really cared about everyone. He will be missed by so many.

To Josh's family and friends I am sadden to hear the loss of Josh and my thoughts and prayers are with you! I remember the fun times all those guys had during football games and a lot of times coming over to our home with our son Chad to hang out eat pizza and act goofy and Josh was right in the middle of them with that great BIG smile making every one else laugh, thank you Josh for that beautiful smile to keep close to our hearts in memory of you!

Josh, through the MANY years of friendship, you've wedged yourself into a corner of my heart that not many people even know exists. From the crazy house parties at Mark's house 14 years ago when we were all KIDS to the countless float trips and get-togetherns with the oddest mutual friends, we always found a way to connect and re-connect from one social circle to the other. I was fortunate enough to know you as more that just the goofy funny character with a famously short fuse. Your heart was one of a kind and we shared some stories and advice and I'll cherish the moments we shared for the rest of my life. I knew you were going through a rough time, almost unfair how rough it was…. and I am so heartbroken that this was what you felt like was your only option. Those little boys are gonna miss having their amazing daddy around, and frankly, everyone that ever knew you is gonna miss at least ONE of your MANY amazing qualities. Rest soundly, Josh. Josh was one of those kind of people who knew how to make you laugh. He knew how to have a good time no matter where he was. I will always remember the smile he had when ever he saw you. He made us all feel special. That was his gift. You will be missed by all of us!
