Zachariah Casper
I met Spence back in 1996 when we both worked for Gaffney Crane. I knew him for the first couple years as a good friend and coworker. He helped me learn how to become a better structural fitter welder and was one of the best lead men and supervisors I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He met my aunt a couple years later one night when he stopped by to drink some beers with me and they fell for each other and eventually got married. So I also knew him as family. We would often hang out, drink beers, grill food, go fishing, play games and enjoy each other's company. He eventually left Gaffey Crane but we still ended up working together again, once at AXH and then for a few years at Dieco/ DMI International. His wife, my aunt Charlene passed away in 2017 and we didnt keep in touch as often since then. I regret not getting a chance to say goodbye. But I'm grateful for all the good times we once had. I'll miss you Spence.
