Spencer Loren Lollis' Obituary
Spencer Loren Lollis, a resident of Jennings, passed away July 9, 2019 at the age of 58. He was born January 13, 1961 to Johnny Lollis and Betty Jane (Griggs) Fritz in Indianola, Mississippi. Spencer was very active in sports, where he played club soccer as a young teen, a high school football player, played soccer in college, a semi pro soccer player and he went 72-0-1 in men’s over 30 indoor team. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams, OU and the LA Rams. And Spencer loved to cook and cook and cook…..but most of all, he was a wonderful dad, who raised 2 children and loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Lollis; brother, Steve Lollis, sister, Lynell Lollis Garrison; grandparents, Essie and Ed Griggs and Matty and Frank Lollis.Survivors include his loving wife of 11 years, Katy Lollis; son, Dustin Lollis and wife, Tara; daughter, Amanda Carter and husband, Alan; grandchildren, Addison and Brenna Lollis, Kiara and Dezmond Traylor, Reagan Woodfork and Max Carter; mother, Betty Fritz; brother, Sam Lollis; aunt, Ida Bruce and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friendsServices will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
