A Celebration of Life June 20, 2015Stacey J. Hansen 1/17/76 ~ 3/07/14Stacey J. Hansen was born on January 17, 1976, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the eldest child of Franklin and Sherry Hansen. She passed away on March 7, 2014, in Tulsa after a courageous three-year battle with breast cancer.Stacey received her high school diploma from Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in May 1994. She later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma. She loved people of all ages and had compassion for those in need.Stacey enjoyed playing soccer and rooting for the men’s and women’s national soccer teams as well as her beloved Oklahoma Sooners in football and basketball. She was an avid lover of the arts, including music, French Impressionism, Broadway plays and musicals, and British television comedies, dramas, and mysteries.Stacey is joined in death by her grandparents, Bruce and Eileen Hale and Raymond and Virginia Hansen; her aunt, Peggy Crandall; and her uncles, Garry Hale, Jerry Hale, and Vernon Hansen. She is survived by her parents, Franklin and Sherry Hansen, of Tulsa; and her brother, Jeffrey Hansen, of Tulsa.Stacey was loved by many family and friends and is deeply missed. Those who wish to honor her memory may donate to the American Cancer Society, Family and Children’s Services of Tulsa, Oklahoma Project Woman, and The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis in Tulsa.
