Stacey Jo Woodson's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stacey Jo Woodson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on May 13, 2024, at the age of 53.
Sweet gentle Stacey was married 31 years to Duke Woodson and had 2 children, Rachel and Ben Woodson.
She lovingly shared her life with her family, bringing joy to her home.
Being tenderhearted, she loved animals whether common or rare, caring for and enjoying them.
Stacey loved Christmas and birthdays. She had a gift for finding perfect presents and delighted in watching loved ones open them.
Stacey loved to go on adventures, traveling to Russia 3 times, England and Scotland 3 times, and cruising to Alaska among her other travels. Her favorite was Scotland and she loved the bagpipers.
Stacey was a Sooner fan tried-and-true, and loved going to football games with her husband. Any day the Sooners beat Texas was a great day.
But most importantly, she was a committed Christian. She believed and loved in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with a sincere faith, which she lived out daily. Today, while we deeply miss her, we know she is in communion with her Lord, her Mother, and her Grandmother and is embraced in the love of God.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Joe Farinelli and Nina Lemon Farinelli; parents, Sonny Smith and Nancy Farinelli Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Duke Woodson; daughter, Rachel Woodson; son, Ben Woodson; sister, Christy Beasley; brother-in-law, Brad Beasley; nephew, Luke Beasley; niece, Lauren Beasley; aunt, Susan Farinelli Craig; father-in-law, L.M. Woodson; brother-in-law, Resh Woodson; nephew, Gabe Woodson; niece, Chloe Woodson; niece, Caroline Woodson.
