Stanley Gene Cagle's Obituary
Stanley Gene Cagle, age 84, resident of Tulsa, Ok. was born on July 11, 1939, in Westville, Ok. to Joseph and Jewel Cagle. He passed away at his home in Tulsa on the morning of Saturday, July 22, 2023. Stanley was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by one granddaughter, Summer Ann Cagle Oliver, and her three children Karlee, Madison, and Luke all of Broken Arrow, Ok. He is also survived by two sisters, Frances Gho of Broken Arrow, and Fae Holbrook (Chuck) of Lafayette, IN., four nephews, Kelly Reed (Brenda), Randy Reed (Cathy), Mitch Holbrook (Judy), Danny Holbrook (Megan), as well of a host of many family members, and friends. Stan served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1963. He was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church, and retired from John Zink Co. after 38 years, where he was a meticulous machinist that was precise and a perfectionist with any job assigned to him. Anyone that knew Stan, knew that he was an honest man, of integrity, and honor. Stan had a great love for fishing & most Saturday mornings before sun up that he and his son Chuck pulled his boat to their favorite lake destination in hopes of catching the biggest bass imaginable. This was a special bonding time they indulged in for many years. Stan is preceded in death by both his parents, Joe and Jewel Cagle, one stepmother Rachel Cagle, one brother-in-law Joe Gho, his son Charles L. Cagle & girlfriend of many years Karolyn Dodson. Stan will be missed greatly by all his family and friends. There are no services scheduled at this time.
