Steve was not only our neighbor but a great friend. He was always there for my family if we ever had a need. Steve and Judy supported my family through two deployments in the last nine years and have always been so kind and helpful. We are blessed to know the Gifford’s. Not only are we next door neighbors but Steve and my Husband both worked for the Tulsa Police Department at the same time. Before retirement from TPD, Steve did several ride a longs with my husband and we are thankful to have had those opportunities. From mowing our lawn when life got too busy, helping me figure out strange noises in my house when my husband was gone or just telling our children good morning and to have a great day at school as Steve got home from work, he played an important role in our lives. Steve always went above what was ever expected of him. Steve was selfless which is why he made a great Marine and Police Officer. He was born to serve others and he fulfilled that. Steve Gifford, a very great man, a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, son and friend, he will be missed so much. Thank you Judy for marrying a wonderful person, we are so blessed to know you both. The love you and Steve shared did not go unnoticed and is something we admire.
