Stephen Ryan Edward Schroeder “Ryano” November 4, 1977 – June 3, 2025 Stephen Ryan Edward Schroeder, lovingly known as “Ryano”, was born on November 4, 1977, at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City and passed away at home in Broken Arrow on June 3, 2025, at the age of 47. Ryan had recently started a new job at Tulsa Technology Center, where he taught general education courses in the Aviation Maintenance Program. He was excited and proud of his new role and found joy in teaching and inspiring his students. Prior to this, Ryan devoted 15 years of his career to Tinker Air Force Base, where he was recognized as an outstanding mechanic. He led countless training sessions and was admired for his dedication, charisma, and depth of knowledge. Outside of work, Ryan was a master of the barbecue pit—his smoked meats were legendary among friends, family, and coworkers. He often dreamed of starting his own barbecue food truck and was known for bringing people together through food. Ryan was also a gifted artist, creating detailed wood-burned pieces that reflected his creativity and passion. He is survived by his mother, Cathy D. Schroeder of Broken Arrow; his father, Stephen E. Schroeder of Oklahoma City; and his daughter, Allie Pueblo; grandson, Kian Pueblo. He is also survived by his sister, Tabitha Arain, and her three daughters: Maya, Sophia, and Noor Arain; as well as his sister, Amanda McElhaney. He is also survived by Madilyn Grace.
