Stephen "Pete" Voorhies Jr.'s Obituary
Stephen “Pete” Voorhies Jr. was born on December 23, 1942 in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed on February 22, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen Peter Voorhies Sr. and Mildred Hamilton Voorhies. He is survived by his loving daughters, Kalah Jean Irving and Renee Lynn Sunday; brother, Robert Voorhies; grandsons, Wesley Beneux, Christian Spencer, and Adam Bright; granddaughters, McLaine Beneux and Mackenzie Spencer; and great grandson McCoy Acuff. He was an avid tennis player, enjoyed photography, and was known for his love of The Beatles and Neil Young.Visitation will be held on Thursday, 2/23, from 4 pm- 6pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Services will take place Friday morning, 2/24, at 10 am.
