Steven Alan Clayberg's Obituary
Steven Alan Clayberg died peacefully in his home on March 6, 2018 at the age of 71. Steve is survived by his wife, Sachiko, daughters, Sandi Morrow and Emi Clayberg, son-in-law, David Morrow, Sister, Cathy Slodek, grandchildren, Vincent, Aedan, and Vivian and nieces, Megan and Kelsie.He is preceded in death by his parents Charleen (Chuck) and George, and brother Joseph Clayberg.Steve was born on July 8, 1946 in Denver, Colorado to Chuck and George. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa and then went to the University of Tulsa for two years before joining the Army. Steve served in the Vietnam War as an analyst for the NSA. He returned from the war with his wife Sachiko and finished school at the University of Tulsa in with a Doctorate degree in Law.Steve was a local photographer in Tulsa for most of his life. He was an avid reader and spent much of his time in his later years writing. He had a very creative mind and loved watching movies. Steve had a great sense of humor that he displayed up until the very end. Most of his family will agree that he made the best breakfast in town.Please bring your best story about Steve and join us for a casual chapel service at 10:00 on March 14th at Floral Haven, 6500 S 129th East Ave, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. You are welcome to take a beautiful drive with us as Steve will be laid to rest at Fort Gibson National Cemetery at 1:00 following the service.
