Steve Frost's Obituary
Steven Gale Frost was born on March 19,1953 in Topeka, Kansas and died on August 23, 2023 in Broken Arrow, OK. He grew up in a Godly home with parents who lovingly supported him and his two siblings. He attended church regularly and at the age of 11 gave his life to Christ and was baptized.
After graduating high school he attended one semester of college at Oklahoma Christian University. He then worked on the east coast building communications towers. He returned to Oklahoma Christian University where he met Milly. They married on August 8, 1975.
After marriage, they moved to Tulsa where Milly continued her education to receive her teaching degree and Steve began his independent mobile tool business. He owned Frost Tools for more than 35 years. As a supplemental business and hobby, Steve taught concealed carry classes as well as, bought and sold firearms.
Steve and Milly welcomed their daughter Kasey in November 1985. Steve was a devoted father, always supporting her in sports, education and extracurricular activities throughout her life.
Steve and Milly attended Garnett Church of Christ for 30+ years where they met loving, loyal lifelong friends. Steve assisted in teaching fourth grade bible class for many years.
A most precious moment for Steve was becoming a grandfather, or Papa, to grandson Sutton St. John.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents Delmer and Betty Frost. He is survived by his wife Milly, daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Kasey, Steven and Sutton St. John. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Larry and Kevin Hollingsworth of OKC. Brother and wife, Rob and Karen Frost of Burlington, Wisconsin. Sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Amy and Dave Dennis. He has six nephews, two nieces and their children – all a part of the family he treasured so much.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 PM, Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
