Steven Morris' Obituary
Steven Ray Morris, 66 of Owasso, Ok, passed away and went to be with our Lord and Savior March 31st, 2021 at Hillcrest Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Steve was born June 6th, 1954 in Bartlesville, Ok to Lark and Dena Morris.
Steve was a graduate of Webster High School and Tulsa Barber College. He was a bit country and bit rock and roll. Steve went on to open his own barber shop in west Tulsa and was an excellent barber with many loyal customers. Steve was involved in other business ventures as well. He was owner/operator of Reliable Maintenance and later was involved as owner/operator in the long-haul industry.
Steve had many passions, playing golf, country music, his red truck, Jamil’s and was an avid horse rider and trainer. Steve often participated in local rodeo’s as part of the opening ceremonies and flag presentation.
Steve’s greatest passion of all were his daughters, granddaughters and OU football.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Lark Morris, brother Michael Morris, nephew Mathew Smith, niece Joelle Engles.
Steve is survived by his mother Dena Morris, two Daughters and their husbands Stephanie and Joe Lindsey, Rachel and Brady Troutt. Three siblings and their spouses, brother Paul Morris wife Dana, brother Tom Morris wife Erika, Sister Lenette Riley husband Joe. Sister in-law Linda Morris and two granddaughters Blakley and Bristol Lindsey.
6 nephews – Shane Morris, Daniel Morris wife Cassi, Chris Scott wife Megan, Grant Morris wife Katie, Michael Riley wife Carley and Tyler Morris.
4 nieces – Britany Dilley, Sarah Morris, Kelli Riley Katlyn Morris and 7 grandnieces – Molly, Makayla, Abby, Blake, Haley, Audrey, Lennon and 1- grandnephew Logan.
Funeral Services to celebrate Steve’s life will be held on Wednesday April 7, 2021 at 12:30 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Broken Arrow, Ok. where he will also be laid to rest.
A viewing will be held Tuesday April 6, 2021 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at Floral Haven.
