Steve and I kept each other company many nights when he was on the road and I had insomnia… and we talked about everything. If anyone ever asks if you can love someone that you’ve never met, you let them know that you absolutely can. Steve was my brother and we had a close bond… I’ll always miss him. He will be deeply missed. One of the best men I had the honor to know through the years. He always displayed a wonderful smile followed by a story or two. If he couldn’t make you laugh, something was seriously wrong.
Hands down my favorite of all the drivers I hired during my MMM management days. Wish I could be there for the celebration of his life. Always left sweet comments on my FB posts. Such a fun guy to be around. Lots of fun discussions, with him, from the road the year MMM put him behind the wheel of a motor home on Colorado passes in snow storms and Texas highways in ice storms. RIP Steve!
