Sue Ann Coursey's Obituary
Sue Ann Reed Coursey, 74, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by care after a courageous battle with diabetes and liver failure. Born on June 24, 1951, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Mildred and Hal Reed, Sue Ann built a life defined by generosity, faith, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She was a respected businesswoman and the proud owner of Sarco Lan Systems. Her professional legacy continues today through her son, Jon Coursey, under the name Sarco Solutions. Sue Ann was a true nurturer who delighted in caring for others. Known as a "pleaser" in the best sense of the word, she would happily bend over backwards to ensure everyone around her was comfortable and taken care of before thinking of herself. She found great joy in simple pleasures: cooking delicious meals for her family, tending to her garden, traveling, and enjoying shopping trips with friends. Above all, she cherished her role as a grandmother and could never say "no" to her grandkids. She was also a dedicated member of her church family at Southwood Baptist Church, where her kindness touched many lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Hal Reed, her brother Kenny Reed and her beloved husband, Jack Coursey. Sue Ann is survived by her sons, Trey Coursey and his wife Laurie, Jon Coursey and his wife Heather, and five adored grandkids, who were the light of her life: Cassie and her husband Sebastian, Tyler, Zac, and Colton. Along with sister-in-law Sherry Ryer and other beloved family members. Visitation Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Floral Haven. Service A funeral service to celebrate Sue Ann’s life will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Southwood Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
