Sue was a woman of many passions, and her creativity knew no bounds. One of her greatest joys was in crafting delectable candies that brought smiles to the faces of all who tasted them. Her sweet confections were a reflection of the warmth and kindness she radiated to all who knew her.
She had an eye for hidden treasures and an adventurous spirit that led her to explore countless garage sales and thrift stores, where she discovered unique items to add to her impressive collections of dolls, jewelry, and blown glass pieces. Sue's collections were not just possessions; they represented her appreciation for beauty and the stories they carried.
Sue's heart overflowed with love and generosity, and she adored spending time with little ones. Her passion for babysitting was evident in the care and attention she showered upon each child, leaving a lasting impact on their lives and creating bonds that will endure through the years.
Music held a special place in Sue's heart, and she found solace and joy in singing. Her melodious voice filled the air with beauty and comfort, bringing joy to those around her during the happiest and most challenging moments of life.
Among her favorite pastimes was enjoying television shows such as "The 700 Club" and "Little House on the Prairie," where she found inspiration and solace in the stories of faith, love, and resilience.
Sue Hughes lived a life enriched by her passions, her collections, and most importantly, the love she shared with those around her. Her departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will be a guiding light for those who knew her.

She is survived by her granddaughter Aleisha and husband Brian Burge; great grandchildren Keaton Hughes, Corbin Hughes, Laney Hughes, Christian Burge, and Connor Burge; her great great grandchildren Liam, Cody, Olivia, Charlotte, and Judah; her sister-in-laws Jackie Scott, and Berylene Scott; along with countless family and friends that will forever miss her.
She is reunited with her husband James Hughes; parents Dennis Scott and Eunice Scott-Mast; children Dennis Rowland, and Kimberly Bernosky; grandchildren DJ Hughes, and Lance Rowland; and great grandson Cade Burge.
