Sue Cavender Jordan Wells' Obituary
Sue Cavender Jordan Wells Born September 5, 1933 in Tulsa, OK to Lenden Earl Cavender and Odessa Bell Harmon Cavender. Sue went to rest with her Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2015 after enduring four years of significant health issues. Despite her conditions and constraints, Sue never looked at her glass as half empty; she continued to light up a room and enjoy life. She loved to laugh and joke and always saw the light in life and people. Following in her father’s footsteps, Sue worked at the Tulsa County Clerk’s office for many years. Sue was a proud Moose Lodge member, WOTM Chapter 1222. While dancing was her passion, she also enjoyed gardening, bird watching and bargain hunting. Sue leaves behind a daughter, Vicki Jordan of Tulsa and her partner, Kristy Wyatt; sister, Helen Louise Carpenter of Owasso; nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins and her precious dachshund Tina. Predeceased by her husband, Charlie Wells; mother, father and brothers. A special “thank you” to the Cardiac Care Unit and Hospice staff at Saint Francis Hospital; your compassionate care was much appreciated. We love you and will miss you dearly but trust you are out of pain, reunited with family and friends and once again dancing in Charlie’s arms. Services will be held at Floral Haven chapel on Thursday, March 19 at 3 PM.
