楊淑儀生平楊淑儀女士於1952年6月4日在香港出生。爸爸楊澄江和媽媽彭蓮育有七名子女,淑儀排行第三。她自幼承襲了父母的優良品格,謙卑誠實,努力工作,樂於助人,愛護家庭,照顧家人無微不致。淑儀自幼勤力讀書,加上天資聰穎,學業成績優異。考入香港著名中學聖保祿女書院。但因家庭經濟問題,中學畢業完成商科課程後,便放棄継續學業,投入社會工作。幫補家計,供弟妹們讀書升學!兄弟姐妹們有今天的成就,實在要感謝淑儀的無私奉獻!1977年, 與林錫麟先生結婚。 誕下一男二女,長子天慶、長女天蔭及幼女天樂。遺憾的是由於感情問題於1987年離婚。淑儀在這困難環境中,唯有更努力工作,獨力撫養兒女成材。可幸的是兄弟姐妹都多方面支持她。尤其她的母親和妹妹淑嫻,更是幫忙照顧小孩,使她能安心工作。不幸她的母親和女兒天蔭也於兩年內相繼過世,加上離婚的打撃,精神受到極大重挫! 感謝神得到二姐妙玲申請淑儀一家移民至美國,在美國重新建立家園,癒合了心靈的創傷。在美國她一人同時照顧两名子女和老父,擔子不輕。可幸兒女都懂事,用功讀書完成大學課程,服務社會,安慰了她的心靈。辛勞一生,前夫於數年前於美國患癌過世,她於2018年退休,兒子卻因心臟病於香港突然離世,令她再受打擊。她於同年幾度中風、期間又跌傷盤骨,手術後使她身體急速衰退、極度虚弱 。最终於2019年2月27日零晨息了她地上的勞苦,安息主懷!Maria 我們永遠懷念您!Suk Yee Maria Yeung was born on June 4 1952 in Hong Kong. She was the third child out of seven children in the Yeung family. She was raised to respect others, be diligent, gracious, and considerate. With her hard work and her great intelligence, she was accepted by a renowned high school in Hong Kong. However, her family’s financial hardship unable her to advance her education. Instead, she started working full-time and supporting her younger siblings’ education.Maria married her husband Larry Lin in 1977 and had three children, oldest son Leo, daughters Pinky and Flora. She divorced her husband in 1987. Unfortunately, both her mother and her oldest daughter passed away around the same period of time. She lived a very stressful life due to these tragedies and being a single mother to two young children. With her elder sister Elaine’s assistance, Maria’s family was able start a new life in United States. The slow pace of life in the States helped her relieving her stresses. Her children were able to advance their education and received college degrees in professional fields.Her oldest son passed away from heart disease not long after her retirement in 2018. With a broken heart, her health had dramatically declined. By the end of the year, she had suffered multiple strokes, broken hip, and sepsis. On February 27, 2019, she passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side.People will forever remember her as a kind spirit who always help people in need. Her brothers and sisters will always remember her sanctifies for them. She was such a caring person that even upon her death she was trying to help others with what little she had. And now, she had gone to heaven and may her rest in peace!
