My best friend lost her battle with cancer October 1st. Susan won the battle the first time around, although it became sadly clear the battle had taken its toll. She was the most beautiful lady with such an incredible spirit and tremendous sense of humor. My life changed so beautifully when Susan decided to be my friend, my sis! Our travels, shopping, fun times, drinks/dinner, working together…. and playing together are the best of memories. I will remember, cherish and celebrate the life of Susan K. Gaston for the rest of my days! My heart breaks…. and yet rejoices so wonderfully for having been chosen as her friend by Susan. I am so blessed! Susan – so many great memories!Larry, you were the love of Susan's life! Such amazing memories you have of the two of you, visit those often—- they will let you smile!Sincerely,Carol Alix
I work for Susan from 1992 till I retired in 2003. She was one of the best bosses I ever had. I am so sorry to hear that she is gone. My heart goes out to her husband, Larry. She was extremely tolerant to mine and every one else's (especially student's) problems. May she rest in peace.Ruth-Anne Dusanic
