Susan K. Ingold's Obituary
Susan Ingold, age 66 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on January 3, 2012 in Tulsa. She was born on January 21, 1945 in Jamestown, New York to Robert and Miriam (Folkins) Feely. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Miriam Feely; and her older sister, Joan Wilkinson. During her life she was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a Den Mother for her son's Cub Scout troop, a Registrar for the Claremore Soccer Club for many years, owned and operated her own home interior store in Claremore, OK, and took care of her mother while she battled her Alzheimer's. Susan was a dedicated employee at St John's, she loved her job and the people she worked with, they were family to her. Susan was a very creative person, her many talents included toll painting, ceramics, needlepoint, and knitting to name a few. She thrived on activity and loved to make things for other people to enjoy. Susan spent many weekends watching her grandchildren play soccer, football, and baseball. In April of 2009, Susan was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). She battled her Leukemia, undergoing many rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Although she fought hard, the disease and its impact to her immune system was too much. Susan did hang on long enough for her great-granddaughter Delilah to arrive on December 13, 2011. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Stephanie Ingold; grandchildren: Brittany Edic and her husband Eon, Christopher Ingold, and Brandon Ingold; great grandchildren: Dylan and Delilah Edic: also step- grandchildren Ashley and Alexandra Luce, sister Bobbi Baker and her husband Jim of Richmond, VA, close friends Annette Ziglar, Bob Barthel, and Debbie Nickle and numerous other family members. Viewing hours will be held Thursday January 5, 2012 from 10:00am to 9:00pm at the Floral Haven Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012, 3:00pm in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with interment following at Floral Haven Garden of The Last Supper.
