Susan Kay Kimbrough's Obituary
Susan Kay Kimbrough, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 60. She was born on June 11, 1963, and her departure from this world leaves a void that can never be filled.
Susan was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a special affinity for creating beaded jewelry, a craft that allowed her to express her creativity and share her beautiful creations with those around her. Her intricate and colorful pieces of jewelry will serve as lasting reminders of her artistic spirit and attention to detail.
One of Susan's greatest joys in life was spending quality time with her family, especially her granddaughter. She cherished the moments they spent together, playing cards and sharing stories. Her granddaughter's laughter was a source of immense happiness for her.
Another cherished memory for Susan was the time she spent fishing with her father-in-law. Those tranquil moments by the water, with fishing lines cast and stories exchanged, were some of her fondest. It was in these simple, quiet times that she found solace and formed lasting bonds.
Susan is survived by her son, Dustin Mantegani, and his wife, Sheila, who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. Her three beloved grandchildren, Adria Mantegani, Xoey Long, and Lexi Long, brought immeasurable happiness to her days.
She is also survived by her sister, Terry Suarez, and niece, Kristen Suarez, along with great-nephew Aarron Denton, whose presence in her life meant the world to her. Her step-sister, Kathy Barfield.
Susan has now been reunited with her mother, Sharon Hyde, her brother, Robert Lewallen, and her stepfather, Neal Hyde, in eternal peace. Their spirits are now together, watching over those they left behind.
Susan Kay Kimbrough's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love for her family will continue to inspire and comfort those who were fortunate enough to have shared in her life. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
