Talmadge George Kiser Jr.'s Obituary
Talmadge George Kiser, 81, of Tulsa, passed away July 20, 2020 at Clarehouse in Tulsa. George was born January 12, 1939 in Blackwell, OK to Talmadge and Nedra Kiser. George proudly served in the US Army, worked for the Bell Telephone companies and retired from AT&T. He was a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He enjoyed singing and was a founding member of the Asbury Singing Ambassadors choir. He also enjoyed volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and Telephone Pioneers when he was not working to restore his 1939 Chevy. George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Janna; and his sister Connie. George is survived by his brother Kenneth and wife Pam, of Tulsa, his children Kelle Kiser and husband Daniel of Caney Kansas. Keith Kiser and wife Susan of Tulsa, Craig Kiser and wife Kim of McKinney, TX, Chris Kiser, Tulsa, and stepdaughters Kristi Blackford and husband Tim of Houston, TX and Kara Rhodes and husband Ron, Dallas, TX George also had 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
A viewing will be open from 1:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, July 23, 2020 and an outdoor funeral service will be held at 10:00am Friday, July 24, 2020 both at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
