Tenah Marie Neuendorf's Obituary
In loving memory of Tenah Marie Neuendorf, who peacefully left her earthly body at 11:58 PM on December 24, 2023, after courageously battling Adenocarcinoma of the Pancreas for over a year and a half. Her strength and perseverance were truly admirable.
Tenah, a proud full-blood Muscogee Creek Citizen, was born on January 17, 1956, in Coweta, Oklahoma, to Lewis "Bungee" Perryman and Mary Jane Miller Perryman. She grew up in Coweta, graduating from Coweta High School in 1974. Tenah started her family in Coweta with the birth of her only child, Lewis Cash, who she leaves behind.
She met Ed Carl Neuendorf of Coweta in 1997 and was his lovingly devoted wife for almost 20 years. They enjoyed traveling, garage sale hopping, and simple pleasures like popping a cold top on a warm night while listening to John Anderson or David Ball.
Tenah was a hard worker, serving as an expert import and export shipper for 40 years. She loved being outdoors and was selfless in her giving. As a Muskoke person, we say, "Hvtum checares" – until we meet again, Tenah.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis "Bungee" Perryman and Mary Jane Miller Perryman; three older brothers, Johnny Perryman, Henry Clay Perryman, and Thomas Eugene Perryman; brother-in-laws Jim Wilton, Vernon Poindexter, Matthew Sample; nephew, Joseph Perryman, and great-nephew Joseph "JT" Thomas Shaw.
Tenah leaves behind her only child, Lewis Cash, and his wife Dorna Cash of Tulsa; beloved grandchildren Marcus Cash and wife Shealyn Barnett of Tulsa and Sierra Cash and partner Dillon Hitzler of Sand Springs; adoring great-grandchildren Carter and Kinsleigh Cash and Dixie-Rose Hitzler.
She is also survived by her five sisters: Martha Irene McHenry of Tulsa, Agnes Perryman of Choctaw, Shirley Wilton of Broken Arrow, Judy Poindexter of Coweta, and Elizabeth "Busky" Sample of Haskell; two living brothers, Wesley "Dean" Perryman and wife Darlene Perryman of Newalla and Lewis "Moe" Perryman of Coweta; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In the reunion with her loved ones in paradise, Tenah is sure to find pure bliss. Until we meet again, Hvtum checares, Tenah.
