Teresa Marie Jarboe, age 61, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. Born on June 22, 1964, in Long Beach, California, Teresa was the beloved daughter of Melvin and Opal Holsapple.
A graduate of East Central High School, Teresa embraced her role as a stay-at-home mom with love, creativity, and joy. Her artistic spirit knew no bounds—she found beauty in the everyday, painting whimsical snowmen, festive Santas, and patriotic flags on furniture, rocks, and anything she could imagine. Her passion for crafting and decorating was matched only by her love for shopping, especially at her favorite store, Dollar Tree.
Teresa was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her life and inspired her generous heart. As a child, she traveled extensively, visiting all 50 states and countless national parks, experiences that shaped her adventurous soul. She cherished memories of riding her horse, Stardust, as a teenager—an early expression of her love for animals and the outdoors.
Above all, Teresa adored her family. She was a joyful and silly grandmother who delighted in taking her grandkids to hotels for swimming and fun, and treating them to seafood boils. Her laughter, singing, and dancing brought light to every room she entered. She gave freely of her time and love, always putting others first.
Teresa's family includes her loving parents, Mel and Opal Holsapple; her brother Ryan and his wife Katrina, along with their children Hagan and Keenan; her daughters Brittany, and Brooke and wife Karyssa; and her eight cherished grandchildren: Cyrus, Kiera, Nakyah, Aiyana, Arieah, Decklyn, Nymara, and Maverick.
Her legacy of love, creativity, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
