I met Teresa in February, 2002 at Mineral Area College a MO Master Gardeners class. For 11 weeks we met there and would talk to each other after the class was over. Our group became instant friends.
At the end of the classes, I asked everyone in the group of us 4 to come to my house on Younker Rd south of Potosi, MO with their spouses. It was a great evening where we talked and truly enjoyed being together.
Our initial group included Teresa and Tim, with Cindy and George Berry, Celestine and Miles Murdock, and my husband, Dick and me, Mary Wilson.
That was the beginning of a wonderful friendship that carried on to include Greg and Cyndie Altenberger, Ray and Gloria Robinson and Ray and Nena Detring who were close by neighbors to Teresa and Tim in Farmington, MO.
We would frequently have potluck dinners and get togethers where we would talk, dance, listen to music, and overall laugh with each other. It was wonderful that we stayed in contact throughout the years.
There has always been such love between us all. We became a family by choice.
Teresa will be missed by all of us. We offer to her family our most heartfelt condolences. We will keep her family in our thoughts and prayers.
I loved you like my sister, Teresa. May you rest easy now and be in peace.
Love you, Teresa. Mary Wilson. Highland, IL.
