Terressa Louise Smith "Latham"'s Obituary
Terressa Louise Smith (Latham), born Friday, July 18, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her loving parents Leonard Jackson Cott & Helen Virginia Cott; went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 20, 2016 with her loving family by her side. A native of Tulsa; Terressa was the second of six children, graduating from Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the class of 1948. That same year Terressa married her beloved husband Joseph Orin Smith; sharing thirty-three years of happiness together and raising their six children together before Joseph went to be with the Lord in 1981. Many years later Terressa met a gentleman named Samuel E. Latham who she fell deeply in love with and in 1998 they became man & wife; sharing nine years of happiness together until Samuel went to be with the Lord in 2006. Terressa enjoyed many things in life but what she cherished and loved most of all are the times she shared with her family and friends who she loved so dearly; she will be deeply missed by all that had their lives touched by her. Terressa is proceeded by her beloved husbands, Joseph Orin Smith and Samuel E. Latham; her dearly loved daughter, Melinda Dawn Smith; her loving parents, Leonard & Helen Cott; two of her dear siblings, Little Leonard Cott and Gwyneth Kay Ooweeta Carlos. Terressa is survived by her loving children, James Leonard Smith, Michael Allan Smith & wife Jane Smith, Randall Lee Smith & wife Paula Kay Smith, Diana Jo Branch & husband Jerry Dewayne Branch, David Joseph Smith & wife Josie Yogo Smith; her dearly loved grandchildren, Joseph Sean McLaurin Smith, Morgan Christine Stiles & her husband David Stiles, Rebekah Elizabeth Branch, Johnathan David Branch and Michael Joshua Smith; her precious great grandchildren, James Scott McLaurin Smith, Victoria Elizabeth McLaurin Smith and Vivian Serene Kerby; her loving siblings, Donna Doloris Chance, Saundra Patricia Ann Beall and Linda Sue Cott; and numerous brother-in-laws, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces and other family members; and numerous close friends, that all cannot be mentioned. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 10:00AM to 8:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A service will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 12:30PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in the chapel. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 1:30PM at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; following the services in the chapel .
