Hickman, Terry Gene's Obituary
Terry Gene Hickman, 84, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025. He was born on April 11, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Norton and Dorothy Hickman. Terry built a long and dedicated career with Wonder Bread, where he served as a fleet superintendent. Known for his strong work ethic, steady leadership, and easygoing nature, he made lasting friendships throughout his years with the company. Outside of work, Terry found his greatest joy on the water. Fishing was not just a hobby but a passion—one that reflected his patient spirit and love for quiet moments in nature. He was preceded in passing by his parents and his brother, Larry Hickman. Terry is lovingly survived by his wife, Donna Hickman; his daughters, Cheri Henderson and husband Scott, and Julie Lawson and husband Tom; his brother Norton Hickman and sister Darlene Ryan. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren: granddaughters Lauren Emigh and husband Hunter, Sydnie Lawson, and two grandsons who held a special place in his heart. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Susie at Armada Home Care and Cindy with Complete Home Health Care for their compassion and dedication during Terry’s final months. Terry will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, “Boppy,” brother, and friend. His gentle nature, steady presence, and love for the outdoors enriched the lives of all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
