Terry Dale Taylor, a beloved resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 48. He was born on July 29, 1974, to Glen and Jeannie Taylor, and his departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. Terry's life was one filled with love, dedication, faith in his Lord, and a strong sense of humor, that brightened the lives of those around him.
Terry's love story began when he met the love of his life, Catherine Taylor. They shared a deep connection, and their bond grew stronger with each passing day. Together, they journeyed through life's ups and downs, celebrating 16 beautiful years of marriage. Terry often referred to Catherine as his true Soul Mate, a testament to the depth of their love and companionship.
Throughout his life, Terry exhibited an exceptional work ethic. For the past five years, he worked as a Parts Delivery person for Don Thornton, where he displayed dedication and reliability. Terry's colleagues and customers were always greeted by his blunt and honest personality, never one to sugarcoat his words. Despite his straightforward nature, he possessed a heart of gold, always willing to go above and beyond to help others. Terry's genuine kindness and willingness to lend a hand earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
Terry had a playful spirit and a somewhat dry sense of humor that brightened the atmosphere wherever he went. He enjoyed sharing jokes and laughter with friends and family, bringing joy to those around him. In his leisure time, Terry found solace in activities such as watching NASCAR, hunting, fishing, having BBQs, tinkering in his shop, and swimming in his pool, he loved his dogs and the chickens that he raised with his wife. Family meant the world to Terry, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Whether engaged in an exciting adventure or simply relaxing at home watching his favorite show, Yellowstone, Terry's priority was always his family.
Terry had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, showering them with love, laughter, and wisdom. He found joy in their presence and embraced the role of a doting grandfather wholeheartedly.
As we bid farewell to Terry Dale Taylor, we celebrate the legacy of a remarkable man who embodied strength, kindness, and humor.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Catherine, his mother, Jeannie; his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Wendi Taylor; his nieces, Shelby and Sheridan;1 great-niece; 2 great-nephews; his four daughters, Kelsie, Alisha, Tara, and Rachel; his two-stepsons, Nicholas and Brent; 19 grandchildren; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles; extended family on his wife's side that all considered him a big part of their lives. May his spirit live on in our hearts as we remember the joy and laughter he brought to our lives. Rest in peace, Terry Dale Taylor.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Monday, June 12, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
