. Thelma Ray Brown Thelma was born in Louisville, Kentucky; November 1953 to parents Walter Thomas Fleitz Jr. and Mary Margaret McClure of Louisville, KY. She left this world for heaven February 1, 2012. Thelma is survived by: Her husband, Douglas A. Brown of Tulsa, OK; her daughter Velvia Ann York of Miami, OK; her son, Robert Porter York Jr. of Miami, OK; her daughter Tina Michelle Johnson of Birmingham, AL; her God daughters Jessica Louise Austin of Grove, OK; Bonnie Lee Taylor, and Melissa Lynn Maggard both of Tulsa, OK; her God son Jeremy Michael Taylor[ and her nephew Rusty Lee Brown, all of Tulsa, OK... her brothers Walter Lee Fleitz, William Theodore Fleitz, and Thomas T. Fleitz; her sisters Mary Margaret Fleitz and Lorraine Dece Fleitz; all of Louisville, KY; and her uncle Charles McClure of Allentown, IN. Thelma has 10 grandchildren (one preceded her leaving this world) and 1 great grandchild. Thelma worked as a Patient Care Technician and Ortho-Uro Technician at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK for 22 years after caring for patients in many nursing homes and hospitals a total of 41.5 years. All who knew Thelma, felt her love for her family and friends. Her love, laughter, honest counsel, generosity, and sunny smile will be missed in this world, but never forgotten. Funeral Service will be held 12:30 p.m.,Monday February 6th, 2012 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
