Thelma Lou Reed's Obituary
Thelma Lou Reed, 83, resident of the Highlands in Owasso, passed away November 1, 2017. She was born in Drumright, Oklahoma living most of her life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Thelma worked as a night auditor and desk clerk at LaQuinta in Tulsa, Oklahoma before retiring.Thelma enjoyed fishing, more than anything else. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always excited on the days she could play Bingo and the Horse Races at the Highlands of Owasso, where she resided the last year of her life.She was proceeded in death by her parents, Percy and Carrie Rose, one brother, Wallace Rose; one sister, Jeri Couch; one daughter, Charlotte Haley.Survivors include, one brother, Pete Rose; one son, Johnny Ray Reed Jr.; two daughters, Sonja Brown and Kathy Lynch; three grandsons, Stan Kent, Aaron Reed, and Joel Reed. Five granddaughters, Katrina Holsapple, Michelle Denton, Amber Herman, Kimberly Reed, and Christina Campbell. Great grandchildren, PFC Jarrett Denton, McKayla Denton, Caedon Herman, Hagan Halsapple, Keenan Holsapple, Jackson Kent, Christian Kent, Andrue Kelough, Hayden Cox, Lauren Davis, Makenzie Reed, Carter Reed, Piper Reed, Anastasia Reed, Conner Reed. Viewing will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, November 3, 2017 at Floral Haven Prayer Gardens in Broken Arrow, with Pastor Tom Smith officiating.
