Thelma Mae "Sallie" Thompson's Obituary
Thelma Mae “Sallie” Thompson, age 86, passed away on December 27, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sallie was born on May 28, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. Sallie married the love of her life, William A. Thompson, on November 8, 1946. She was an incredible woman with a huge heart who tried to help anyone she came across; her family described her as a humanitarian entrepreneur. She was involved in several organizations such as Highland Park Demolay State as the state president, American Business Women’s Association, East Central Association, and Parents Club as president. Sallie is survived by her husband William “Bill” Thompson, her son Jerry Ray Thompson, her daughter Vicki Lynn Thompson-Stevens, her grandsons Sean J. Stevens (Whitney) and Jason T. Stevens (Jennifer), and great granddaughter Grace I. Stevens. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:00 am.
