Theodore Chainey's Obituary
Theodore Wilbur Chainey passed from this life on November 1, 2018. He is with his Lord and Savior, and reunited with his wife of 73 years, Anna Arlene (Slagle) Chainey, who preceded him in death on April 2, 2014.He was born in Big Cabin, Oklahoma on February 29, 1920 to Jess and Ora Chainey. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and two grandchildren. He served in the Navy during World War II. He worked for American Airlines and retired after 35 years and 4 months of service. He and Anna raised five children. He leaves behind one sister, Geraldine Reid of Oregon, his five children, and numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren, great granchildren, and great great grandchildren. He lived to serve his Savior his entire adult life. He showed many the way to salvation through his actions and kindness.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Ted.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 7 from 4 pm- 7 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will take place at 12:30 pm at Floral Haven Chapel on Thursday, November 8.
