Theodore Paul Henry's Obituary
Theodore “Ted” Paul Henry, a resident of Catoosa, passed away April 12, 2019 at the age of 41. He was born January 10, 1978 to Gerald Paul Henry and Kathleen Lorriane (Smith) Henry in Ft. Carson, Colorado. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1997. When he was employed at St. Francis Hospital, he met Carmin Norwood, who would become his wife on December 1, 2001. They would later adopt a son, Dylan, who they loved with all their hearts. The day before Ted’s passing he found out that Dylan was an official Marine! They were planning on leaving on April 22nd to go see him graduate. He was so proud and loved that boy of his! Ted loved the outdoors. You could find him outside working around the house and building things for his wife. He loved to hunt but mostly fish. Ted would drop everything to help anyone and loved God and his country very much. Ted will be missed by so many who loved him tremendously.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, LeRoy Henry and Ester Henry; uncles, Rick, Bob, Mike and Roger; grandparents, Harvey Smith, Leotha Smith and Florence Smith; uncle Michael and mother-in-law, Lora Norwood.Survivors include his loving wife, Carmin Cathleen Henry; son, Dylan Paul Henry; father, Gerald Paul Henry; mother, Kathleen Lorriane Henry; father-in-law, Mack Norwood; sister-in-laws, Kirsten Dean and husband, Jimmy; Stephanie Utter; brother-in-law, Steve Norwood; nieces and nephews, Katie Stookey and husband, Brenden, Kourtney Dean and Josh Mayo, Ashleay Franklin, Alisha Franklin, Austin Franklin, Alijah Utter, Aleeyah Utter, Nick Battles, Shelby Norwood, Kyleigh Norwood; great nieces and great nephews, Chandlyr Casey, Cade Franklin and Kennedy Mayo; numerous cousins and extended family.Viewing will be held Thursday, April 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Catoosa with Brother Brad Taylor officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Oak Grove Baptist Church 307 S 273rd E Ave, Catoosa, Ok 74015, in memory of Ted Henry.
