Thomas E. Dotson's Obituary
Thomas Elmer Dotson, 78 years young, left this side of the eastern gate and was welcomed in the waiting arms of his Lord and other family members that preceded him. Thomas was born July 7, 1934 to Truman and Opal (Bench) Dotson, local Broken Arrow business owners in Hillcrest Hospital, Tulsa. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. Thomas was a Tulsa fire fighter for 31 years. He is survived by his wife Kay Jean ( Jennings) Dotson, his daughter Teri Dotson, two sons and their wives, Tom and Robin Dotson, and Tony and Christina Dotson. He has one sister, Nora Coutant, also surviving. Thomas also has three granddaughters Terah Dotson, Jennifer Dotson, Marie Birdwell, and three grandsons Tom Dotson ll, Christopher and Luke Dotson left to carry on his wonderful legacy. He will be remembered as a man who loved God, his family, and his country, answering his call to duty.
