Thomas “Tom” Frederick Goree, 82 of Catoosa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, October 10, 2019 in Tulsa. He was born July 4, 1937 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to his parents, Sidney Frederick Goree and Esther Ruth Yelton Goree. Tom married his loving wife, Willann Elaine Meyer on June 30, 1961 and they have shared in over 58 beautiful years together.Tom is survived by his wife, Willann Goree of the home; his daughter, Julie Goree of Catoosa, Oklahoma; his son, David Goree and his wife Mary Ellen of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren, William Goree of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Matthew Goree of Houston, Texas and Margaret Goree of Bloomington, Indiana; three brothers, Jack Goree and his wife Mary Anne, William Goree and his wife Maureen, and Gary Goree; and one sister, Virginia Riffel and her husband Rich. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ruth Goree.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Randy Shaddox officiating. A fellowship will take place before the service from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Floral Haven Family Center. All are welcome. Burial will be private at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
